The horizontal Murphy bed from the SMARTBett M Series combines maximum space utilization with modern design, transforming any living space into a comfortable bedroom in no time. With a generous sleeping area of 140 x 200 cm, the low-profile design is ideal for rooms with low ceilings, sloping roofs, or narrow floor plans.
Thanks to its extremely slim outer depth of just 40 cm, the bed blends harmoniously into your interior like an elegant, unobtrusive cabinet when closed. Inside, the housing offers a generous internal depth of 28 cm in total. The particularly solid construction is extremely sturdy and guarantees a load capacity of up to 300 kg – the perfect solution for youth rooms, guest rooms, single-room apartments, or micro-apartments.

Powerful gas pressure springs with white-painted metal covers make folding out and folding in almost effortless, quiet, and safe.
Premium materials: Manufactured from 16/22 mm thick chipboard from the renowned German manufacturer EGGER. The scratch-resistant melamine coating ensures durability and easy care.
2 click straps for bedding: The bedding and mattress are secured by two practical click straps when folded up and stay right in place.
Adjustable feet: The folded-out feet feature integrated leveling screws (+ 1 cm adjustment) to easily compensate for slight floor unevenness.
Excellent sleeping climate: A large portion of the back panel remains open due to its design, which, together with the integrated slatted frame, ensures optimal mattress ventilation when closed.
The elegant metal handle with a trendy matte aluminum look impresses with its high-quality craftsmanship and a length of 22 cm. Since the drill holes on the inside are only pre-drilled, we offer the flexibility to install an alternative handle at your own responsibility.
Three-part front design: The tasteful division into three horizontal front panels gives the piece of furniture a modern design. At the same time, the manageable size allows for easy maneuvering and effortless carrying – even through narrow doorways and into smaller rooms.
Excellent sleeping climate: The fact that our Murphy bed intentionally dispenses with a full back wall due to its design offers key advantages. A large portion of the back remains open, which, combined with the integrated slatted frame, ensures optimal mattress ventilation – even when closed. At the same time, the exposed wall space offers room for personal touches, allowing you to easily hang a picture, poster, or decoration when unfolded.
Mattress recommendation: A mattress measuring 140x200 cm up to a maximum height of 28 cm fits the Murphy bed. Recommended weight for mattress(es): 25-33 kg/max. This offers maximum flexibility for your individual use – you can either choose a mattress up to 28 cm high or combine a thinner mattress with stored bedding.
Delivery
Scope of delivery includes the disassembled and original packed Murphy bed including integrated slatted frame, 2 click straps, and detailed step-by-step assembly instructions (without mattress, decoration, pillows, and bedding).
Standard delivery is made to the curbside for self-assembly. A selection of assembly service as well as delivery directly into the apartment may be available in the shopping cart after entering the delivery address.
