UPHOLSTERY FRAME You have the choice: either opt for an elegant upholstery frame that surrounds the bed, slatted frame, and mattress, providing a stylish look even when open, or choose the version without an upholstery frame – instead with 8 stable metal holders that securely fix the mattress.
MATERIAL Chipboard (16/22 mm thickness) with a high-quality melamine coating, which is resistant to scratches and high temperatures, forms the front of the Murphy bed.
Mattress recommendation
We recommend a mattress with a maximum height of 22 cm. The total space between the slatted frame and the internal shelves is 24 cm. If you want to leave bedding in the bed when it is closed, this should be taken into account when choosing the mattress height.
The ideal mattress weight is between 15 and 35 kg.
